Whether you are planning ahead or making arrangements for a loved one, cemetery staff can help you explore available plots and begin the purchase process.
Plot Pricing
Taylor Cemetery offers two pricing rates based on your connection to the cemetery district:
District property owners, taxpayers, and residents — $350 per plot. This rate applies to those who own property and pay taxes to the Taylor Cemetery District, or reside within its boundaries.
Non-residents who are not district property owners or taxpayers — $700 per plot. This rate applies to those who live outside the district and do not contribute through district property taxes.
If you are unsure which rate applies to you, check your address by using our address-checker-tool.
Rates effective November 1, 2025.
How to get started
1. Visit the cemetery and explore available plots
Visit the cemetery and explore areas where you would like to purchase a plot. Save a few location pins in Google Maps or Apple Maps, then share them with cemetery staff.
Alternatively, take photos of nearby headstones to help staff identify your preferred area.
Cemetery staff will use the locations or photos to determine which plots are available.
There are several different ways to relay location information to cemetery staff:
Best
Use what3words
Open what3words and select the map square in each area that interests you. Copy the three-word address exactly as shown, in the format ///word.word.word. or take a screenshot.
Better
Drop GPS Pins
Drop a pin in Google Maps or Apple Maps for each area that interests you. Copy the location links to share with us.
Good
Take Pictures
Take a few photos of areas that interest you. Include nearby headstones and readable names to help us identify the location.
Send your what3words addresses, map links, or photos through our contact form. Include the number of plots you would like to purchase. Cemetery staff will review your preferred areas and confirm availability.
2. Contact cemetery staff
Use the contact form to share your map pins or photos of nearby headstones with cemetery staff. Include the number of plots you would like to purchase and any preferred plot numbers, if known. Staff will review your preferred locations and confirm availability.
3. Arrange your purchase
Once you and cemetery staff have agreed on a plot location, staff will prepare a Plot Purchase Agreement. This agreement serves as your invoice and outlines the terms and conditions of the sale, including how your plots may be used.
After you accept the agreement and submit payment, staff will issue an Ownership Document (formerly called a deed), completing your purchase.
